Tumbling Class Options Offered at Phoenix All Stars

Parent and Tot

Ages: 1–2

This fun, interactive class introduces basic movement and tumbling with the help of a parent or caregiver. Children must be able to walk. The focus is on developing coordination, balance, and motor skills in a playful, supportive environment.

Fundamentals 1

Ages: 2–3

A beginner-friendly class with no required skills. Athletes will learn the foundations of tumbling through fun drills and guided activities that build strength, coordination, and confidence.

Fundamentals 2

Ages: 3–4

Prerequisites: Beginner bridge, donkey kick, supported handstand

Athletes build on early skills with a focus on body control, balance, and basic tumbling techniques. This level introduces independence while reinforcing proper form and safety.

Kickstart 1

Ages: 5–8

Perfect for first-time tumblers, this class introduces fundamental skills like rolls, bridges, and basic flexibility exercises. No experience necessary.

Kickstart 2

Ages: 5–8

Prerequisites: Forward roll, cartwheel, handstand

Athletes refine their basic tumbling and begin working more complex combinations. Focus is placed on technique, strength, and consistency of core skills.

Kickstart 3

Ages: 9+

Older beginners can jump into tumbling with this introductory class. No previous skills required—athletes work on rolls, bridges, handstands, and other foundational techniques.

Accelerate 1

Ages: 6+

Prerequisites: Backbend kickover, cartwheel, roundoff, forward roll, handstand, front limber

Athletes focus on advancing basic tumbling into connected skills, like roundoffs and limbers, while developing the strength and flexibility needed for back handsprings.

Accelerate 2

Ages: 6+

Prerequisites: Front walkover, back walkover, standing back handspring

This level challenges athletes to connect skills and improve power and form. Tumblers begin connecting walkovers to back handsprings and working on clean execution.

Accelerate 3

Ages: 6+

Prerequisites: Round off + 2 back handsprings and back walkover + back handspring

Athletes refine tumbling passes, combining multiple handsprings and improving power and height. Focus shifts toward endurance, timing, and round off-back handspring connections.

Elevate

Ages: 8+

Prerequisites: Round off back handspring tuck, triple back handspring, back handspring step out + double back handspring

Designed for advanced tumblers, Elevate pushes athletes to master high-level skills including tucks, layouts, and complex tumbling passes. Emphasis is placed on precision, control, and performance readiness.

Flyte School

Ages: 6+

Join us for an exciting stunting experience! Our stunt class is designed to teach athletes the fundamentals and techniques of group stunting in a fun, safe, and structured environment.

Home School Hangout

Ages 6+

Our Homeschool Hangout program is designed to help homeschool families incorporate fitness into their routine. Our workouts, challenges and resources focus on teaching kids the importance of daily movement and physical activity. Your student will engage in sports, play games, build confidence, while socializing with other homeschool families.
